Sadly we didn't get those over here.

Pffft. Saying that this is my favorite era of Camry is like saying that there's a kind of diarrhea that I prefer. But this one could also be had as a two-door and a wagon. The wagon is famous, of course, for TWO REAR WIPERS!!
You know, I've lived close by OshKosh my whole life, and this world-renowned gathering is so much a part of the landscape that I completely take it for granted. Hearing about a crash or fatality at/on the way to/on the way from the fly-in is almost expected. Like hearing about accidents during hunting season; you…
Every Subaru made after 2000. (sigh...)
No for Road America. For one thing, the Nationwide series is the one blemish in an otherwise totally classy calender year. For another thing, the entire track is on a large nature preserve. There are a couple of grandstands, but it is not meant to accommodate tens of thousands of spectators. They take pride in…
Never. Never will this happen. If a truck gets into an accident today, the driver would bear the majority of the responsibility. If an autonomous truck gets into an accident, the company would be solely responsible, and that is bad business. It is not just that I am skeptical of technology; machines need a human…
At first I was going to say "none", but I have a better idea. Make it the Buzzfeed of motorcycles. "29 Tramp Stamps on the Backs of Crotch-Rockets that You Won't Believe Are Real" "What Type Of Road Rash Are You?" "Jalopnik Reports: The Real Reason Idiots Finance a Toy They Can Only Use When the Weather is Really,…
Reasonable advice, but you're a bit off base. I'm sure it depends on the dealer more than anything, but there are a variety of reasons why someone, regardless of age, is unable to test drive a new WRX.
I had a '98 Outback Sport in my youth, and while it does not hold a candle to my WRX's performance, I still kind of miss it. GC Impreza's are so hard to find, not just the 2.5RS, but any of the 2.2 models. I live in Wisconsin and Subaru's are very popular (I own 3) but you just don't see those old Impreza's on the…
I've always said: "A manual transmission is the best anti-theft device you can buy."
So, y'all have never heard of the 1991 Dodge Spirit R/T? 224 horsepower, 0-60 in 5.8 seconds...doesn't get much less likely than that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodge_Spi…
There was an excellent documentary on TV last year during the race, I forget what it was called. It was just one of those situations where something had to give...the ever increasing speed and danger of the sport vs. the need to change and implement proper safety precautions. Had the administration been more…
I'm with you, these are all terrible. But let's pick our battles - at least these guys/girls are somewhat adept at playing real instruments and probably even write a fair share of their own songs. There is no comparing these bands to a douche pumping his fist behind his laptop with a turntable.
I was lucky enough to see the Deltawing in action last year at Road America. It did not win the race, but it set the fastest lap of the day. It's a shame it got knocked out of Le Mans, because that thing is seriously fucking fast.

Please start a blog as soon as you buy your first house. Better yet, come work on my house.
As a lifelong arachnophobe, I was thankful that the photo was censored (even if the subsequent photo was not). Yes, I'm so bad that I can't even look at a picture of a spider. Once, I was looking at a magazine in the work breakroom, and there was an ad with a picture of a tarantula, and before I knew it the magazine…
I wonder what it will cost to insure a "one of a kind" vehicle that has a 1,000% likelihood of being stolen.
Interesting how insightful the men are who died in/around a race. Earnhardt, Senna, and McRae's respective sports are worse off without them.
