I was 10 in 79 and lived about 11 miles up river and we left for a few weeks to live near Erie. Mom went back to work in Harrisburg.

I see. Very sad indeed.
That sounds about right. This country does not respect work or the people who do it because despite slavery outside of incarceration being illegal they still are looking for ways to not pay people for their labor. They think they are entitled to people’s labor without paying for it and they don’t give a damn if the…
Their apartment door, which was supposed to be self-closing, malfunctioned. That’s a landlord issue. It has also been reported that a stairwell door higher up the building was open/could not be closed, which made the stairwell into a chimney — if that is found to be a malfunction, that too is a landlord issue.
Hey now, until there exists no Republican in an elected office you cannot blame the Democratic party. And then when that goal is met it’ll be all those damn radical Leftists that want free stuff fault. /s
Why should it be charges against a family that panicked in a fire, and not against the slumlord who didn’t have his building up to code? NYC requires auto-closing doors for that very reason. Not to mention the fact that the slumlord has multiple complaints against him for not having working heat.
Always keep baking soda, garden lime, and a source of water handy while working with muriatic acid so you can quickly neutralize it, if necessary.
Those moments where you lift the box with force expecting it to be heavy and it isn’t. I’m feeling a version of that.
Entirely possible; recovery also includes your body fixing the damage it did to itself. Fevers, for a broad example, are your immune system reacting to a disease, not actually something the disease itself does.
This is a legit response. Some things should be available, some things should be (but can’t leave the house), some things should be (but I’ll come with the tool and show you how to use it because it’s spendy), and some things simply shouldn’t be.
The Holiday Season is fun.
Gee, I’d love to go to the theater to see some of these films, but the grim, unwanted Idiocracy sequel we’re all trapped in prevents me from doing that with an easy mind. Thanks, morons! May you get eaten by Jaws.
You should check them out! They’re really good. I personally always love learning about a good movie that I haven’t heard of.
Where’s your stupid snowball now, f#ckhead?
I don’t know about the rest of the country, but if bagel shops and deli in NYC cut back to half of the cream cheese they put on bagels each place would have enough of a supply to last at least 5 years.
The higher wages are still low for a job that expects a huge amount of physical and emotional labor. The problem is they’ve gotten away with it for so long they feel like they are entitled to employees willing eat shit for little pay.
Without your columns, I’d likely still be an “All Lives Matter” asshole.
For what it’s worth, I read the grays out of curiosity and didn’t see a single negative comment.
“Not ALL Grays.”
It’s been a pleasure and an education to read your work Michael, I look forward to continue to reading it wherever you land next.
