Yes! One of the original arguments in defense of Whedon was that cutting “some of” Cyborg’s scenes didn’t matter because no one cared about him and he was a small character. I had obviously never seen the movie as Snyder had intended it, but I had read interviews and articles that one of the things he intended was

Here’s a question I have always wondered (okay not always but frequently). Why do I always use a chef’s knife (like a mediumish 8" size) to do basically all cutting jobs?

Agreed... I have occasionally had to share a toothbrush with my spouse. I have only done this when he forgets his toothbrush. Because I would rather just not brush my teeth (I often brush my teeth AND use a washcloth to get rid of the fuzzy feeling that sometimes is still there.. so it’s not a stretch to just do the

Excellent. Is it wrong that the thing that would have annoyed me most about this event happening (if it were my kids) is that they thought they WON the prank? I wouldn’t have been too pissed about the crap everywhere, because that’s life, but MAN if you are going to play the game you may loose the game.

Same, same

This is why I’m glad I got pissed about stuff before we had kids. I’m not passive aggressive in general (I just tell him what he’s doing that annoys me and we talk about how to make it better for both of us etc). But if you have had that conversation a lot already sometimes just taking action is the only way to relay

Yes... one reason soccer is the most popular sport in the world is because the barrier to entry is basically zero. You can find kids playing all around the world with balls made of whatever they can find. If you have a ball that is more or less like a soccer ball (i.e. just a little bit bouncy) you can entertain

I have been an Ida B. Wells booster when I took a little bit of a dive into the history of US women’s suffrage (and how white women abandoned black women). Then I went on a deep(ish) dive learning about her. So whenever people were doing things for black history month or women’s history month (I like to suggest black

yes I listen to HDTGM every week too. I think The Room may have been the movie that started their podcast. And I am almost positive at least of them (maybe all three) were in Disaster Artist, in supporting or smaller roles. But they definitely helped get it made.

Let me refer you to a podcast called “The Worst Idea of All Time”

Yeah, I think the lack of increased data analysis is crazy. There is definitely enough data available to say definitively if X is definitely an increased risk, rather than “might” be. (that is basically the reason the group of solid organ transplants is on the list... just because enough data to prove it was increased

Check out my response above re cdc analyses of risk data incase you are curious. My husband actually has MS and for the first half of last year he stopped taking his medication because he spent all his time with covid patients and his particular medication (a beta interferon) does increase risk of viruses infection in

The CDC has changed the prioritization based on new analysis several times. I’m dissatisfied with their analysis because the last one I read (about 3 weeks ago) was still based on data from April. We have so much more data available to elicit the fine details but that hasn’t been done.

Also, just an aside for parents of tween girls who are seeming to exhibit new mood, anxiety, and or emotional issues. In addition to thinking about these as emotion/mood/psychology based, do some reading about how ADHD manifests in pre-adolescent/adolescent girls. Because it often looks like being overly emotional

If you are actually interested in this case and how one man can get tried 10 times by the same prosecutor, there is an excellent podcast by investigative reporter Madeleine Baran and APM Reports. Called In the Dark: Season Two *1 (See below for links where * are... they aren’t included in the greys.)

Yeah and I read a piece in a NC paper looking in to his many false statements. He has had exactly two paid jobs in his entire life. He worked at chic-fil-a before his accident. Then he worked in the district office for Mark Meadows afterwards, part time for one year and then a few days/ hours accumulated over the

That last part is so important to remember sometimes. Someone had to explain it to me once, because I was annoyed with myself at being so upset a dog I only had for about 6 months died. He was 8 when I adopted him. His former owners probably surrendered him because he was in congestive heart failure and they couldn’t

Yeah... I’m white.

I assume the catalog of games for this link play is similar to remote play where only one person owns the game... in that the availability will depend on the developer decision to allow multiplayer remote. The most attractive part of that for me being that you could play remote games even if the actual game wasn’t

Same, except there is one big one in the bathroom. During the day I shut the door and open in window in there. That was the room where the valve leaked and I couldn’t turn it off. The first time I turned one off and it leaked I was able to tighten the set screw and it was fine. We have some radiators with WOODEN
