Quick, Congress! Do nothing!
Quick, Congress! Do nothing!
Agreed. More than voting, donating money will help. I’m a man, and I’ve used planned parenthood to get tested for STI’s when I began dating my current wife. They were respectful, helpful and wonderful. I have to admit though, I’ve never made more than $30,000 a year in my life and I find the money to donate. How much…
I’m in Canada and I feel oddly torn on this. I feel a genuine kinship with women in the USA and want to support them having access to the healthcare they need. BUT if I’m going to donate internationally to support women’s health, it seems weird to donate to the USA, one of the richest countries in the world, instead…
While I wholeheartedly support donating to PP, I would like to vent for a moment.
I want some of my taxes to go to that organization as well. The whole point of government is to do for people what people cannot do for themselves.
The way I deal with my anger is giving a contribution, usually in honor of a Republican, every time I get upset. It really is so fun to pledge $50 in honor of Republicans Everywhere, or Carly Fiorina, or Fake Videos, etc! Everyone should try it.
Can we send Limbaugh to Mars to double check?
No, I get it, cuz, see, my appendix is a definitely a lesbian and my right pinky toe identifies as pansexual but like that shouldn’t define me, ya know?
And it’s a shame the vast majority of them vote strictly along capitalist lines, assuming correctly that most of the time any socially conservative roadblocks will be something they can pay their way out of. Fuck them.
I can’t really speak for anyone else. I dislike her because she’s co-opted the term ‘feminist’ as part of her “brand” (and very openly and vocally so, to the point of calling it her “brand”) with apparently very poor understanding of what the term means or entails and very poor personal politics to back it up.
These kinds of pieces come up from time to time and they always miss the most important part: teach your kids to ask what someone wants to be called, then call them that. They prefer Mrs. Snoghorn you call them Mrs. Snoghorn. They prefer Fat Amy, you call them Fat Amy. True etiquette is not calling someone something…
Seriously. I love dogs, but their needs and neediness annoy the shit out of me. Cats are so easy and chill by comparison.
Stop pretending that dogs’ desperate need for attention means they genuinely care.
Anyone besides me do the full-on ugly cry at the end of Homeward Bound, after Shadow the Golden (who spent days trapped in a hole and his fellow pets refused to leave him) finally comes into view after the other 2 pets have long bounded to the house, and everyone has given Shadow up for dead? When he finally limps…
You’re almost there.
Oh please! A cat wouldn’t get caught in a cistern and make their friend spend a week trying to rescue it.
I think actually what happened was the entire world learned that nurses are severely unhinged. Great. Good to know.
They do that at Disneyland with Mickey Mouse ears.
I've seen it in person. It's not visually unappealing at all, it looks really cool. I'm sad to see the locks go but I didn't realize it was a safety issue.
It’s “who” when you’re talking about people and “that” when you’re referencing objects. Maybe you think of me as an object, though? In which case, hi boo boo ;)
i would pay to be able to fly like goldie
