Did something similar for my kiddo at the beginning of lockdown when the weather started to break for spring. He had a blast. So did the other neighborhood kids, apparently.

It’s less the feature I have issue with, and more the execution. If the lamp wrapped around to the bodyside and incorporated the reflector, i’d take less issue. But the Stinger’s execution looks like an afterthought, and the fender sheetmetal forming at the leading edge gives the front radius a weird bulbousy effect.…
The Stinger still turns my head on the roads. It’s a pretty handsome car.
The secondary issue to releasing an affordable vehicle is having the service network to maintain that influx of additional owners. Tesla’s issues with timely service on their vehicles will only compound when there are many, many more cars on the road, and owners of an ‘affordable’ Tesla may not be as willing or able…
A Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS II is almost always on my camera... walking around shots, pictures of family/friends/kids, car shots, it’s a God-Tier lens.
That’s the right mindset for any activities in northern Michigan. Lazy, non-motorized watersports and beer.
From the preview clips and trailers i’ve seen, i’m expecting the show’s Stormfront to have a Magneto-like stance: that supes are the natural evolution of humanity and the superior ‘race’.
Superliminal?
It’s a goddamned live-action reenactment of Krusty’s Komedy Klassic:
I know the new hotness is Wrangler-fighter-mobiles, but to me, the Blazer doesn’t really evoke off-road-prowess... it conjures images of Xtreme body-kitted mid-90s SUV things with 4.3L V6es, not rockclimbers.
That’s actually a good way to frame it. Maybe they’re actually the most keen of us all on how ridiculous the initiative is and are coasting for the next 4-6 months, waiting to either 1) get an actual legitimate purpose with the next administration or 2) get reabsorbed into the USAF.
Semper Supra, indeed.
“Stellantis has been clinically proven for treatment of lead foot syndrome. Some users of Stellantis experience vertigo, numbness of limbs, or tunnel vision. Consult your doctor if you have a history of heart conditions, as Stellantis may increase your risk of high blood pressure.”
Those official pictures... are not great. Did they take them with an old smartphone? Or just don’t have it in the budget to spring for a decent photographer?
It’s understated and handsome on the outside, but the side profile reminds me of the Ram. It’ll sell like hotcakes. I’d take it every day of the week over the Silverado which seems to look even more bizzare now that Ford and Ram are going with a much more restrained design on their trucks.
I just noticed that Acura’s grille designs makes the emblem look like it’s jumping to hyperspace. I kind of dig that.
“We’ve got nowhere to actually go due to Illinois stay-at-home orders... we got a full tank of cheap gas, half a pack of cigarettes, its dark, and we shouldn’t probably be sitting in the same car together... *cough* hit it!”
Seeing as you’re also a cheap bastard, my extended warranty coverage is called, “if it breaks, learn how to fix it”. It’s worked out pretty well so far.
This. I anecdotally heard from a friend in the auto biz that the average MSRP of vehicles hasn’t actually changed that much in the past 10 years, inflation-adjusted. What has changed, though, is the ATP (Average Transaction Price). People love keeping up with, and being, the Joneses.
