We have the actual post The Office show, Abbott Elementary. Quinta has quite a few of the former Office producers, directors and writers working on Abbott.

Wait til Clooney’s documentary about the OSU sexual abuse scandal premieres on HBO/Max.

So Stella and Cory are going to fuck over Paul? Now this is something I can get behind, and I don’t even mind Paul that much.

I loved the yearbook:

Take a bajillion stars! I wasn’t sure about Silo and a coworker told me how good it was. Once I got the gist of the plot I LOVED it.

The Morning Show as Ann Veal.

Oh I know. I don’t get why this show even exists. I’ve given up trying to understand anything on AV Club or Jezebel.

Different actors? Different network? Morning Show proves once and for all Aniston cannot act? Otherwise I got nothing.
I think the first season examined news events a little more realistically than Morning Show does.

Right here!!

So I’m watching her on Colbert right now, and she is calling him “my man, my dude”.

Anyone with the yearly dues can join AARP. There’s no age limit.  I hope you’re getting something out of it. I only joined to get a deal on car insurance.

But we’d watch if she did!!

Suits is on Peacock now as well as Netflix, which would make more sense financially for Peacock rather than Netflix. Peacock is a subsidiary of NBC Universal, and Suits originally aired on USA Network, also owned by NBC Universal. And you can get Peacock for a lot less than Netflix. Albeit with commercials.

Does the NFL, mainstream media, etc understand that Taylor Swift is a serial dater and this is going to last about as long as it takes to distract a toddler from a hissy fit by handing them a cookie?

Could be, I never watched it. And they didn’t con me into watching Suits, either. I couldn’t get thru the first episode of that mess.

If they’re doing so well, why are they thinking about adding commercials? One of the reasons people stayed with the service and their higher rates is we get shows with no commercials.  They’re losing subscribers and the only way to justify lower rates is to get ad revenue.

Now playing

We have one more Emmy award nominations for the last season to rectify this. Now that the strike is over, hopefully they’ll get it scheduled.

Did you ever notice how your “net” pay is a lot less than your “gross”?

I think they know what a plague is, they love their zombies.

I’m more concerned Gen Z, Gen X, etc don’t know anything about world history, US history, economics, basic adult skill, etc. than whether they know what a phone book is.
