I wonder if this series would have turned out differently if the Pens still had Fleury between the pipes.

Invasive honeysuckle strangled just about every shrub in the park near my house. Walking through it makes me sad.
Scientists are also linking the growth in tick population to the rampant explosion of invasive plants like Japanese Honeysuckle and Japanese Barberry that have all but taken over our suburban homes and nearby forests .
My Dad was in the army during that game and stationed at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. He and another fellow officer were the only two guys in the room from the NYC area. They were rooting for the Yankees and the rest of the soldiers were pulling for the Pirates.
I’m wondering if the Devils will make an offer for van Riemsdyk. The dude is a Jersey guy and the Devils have cap space.
I’m scouring yard sales to find a vintage cassette deck to digitize some old tapes from the 70s & 80s and I have difficulty finding one that still works. Many moving parts in these devices (especially the ones made of rubber) means there are many things that break over time.
This post is bringing back bad memories of tangled cassette decks, rewinding loose tape with a pencil and the muffled music due to Dolby noise reduction.
Jalopnik should look into parking placard abuse in NYC. I swear I think 20% of the vehicles parked in the city (and 88% of the illegally parked ones) have official looking placards in the window. https://www.amny.com/transit/parking-placard-abuse-1.16871832
I’m going to hold on to my iPhone SE as long as I possibly can. I still prefer a small phone that fits in my pocket than a tablet/phone hybrid.
Can we throw said potatoes at the band?
I had 2 bankers’ boxes filled with thousands of cards from 1984-87. After trying to unsuccessfully sell them for two years, my 11 year-old nephew refused them for free. We burned them all in a campfire that fall.
I’m not sure if that is a good idea. The time it takes for officials to review missed offside calls is really slowing down the game.
I was switching back and forth from the Winnipeg-Minnesota game to this one. I don’t know if it was the NBC cameras or the lighting, but the ice at the Xcel Energy Center looked bright and sharp while the ice surface at Nationwide Arena in Columbus appeared much darker and difficult to follow the action. I figured the…
I’m sure that if this happened on a United flight, the passengers would be offered a free soft drink coupon that expires April 30.
I follow a similar schedule although I’m up at 5:20 a.m. to work out. Dinner at 5 and bedtime at 9:30. I also eat loads of junk. I’m in my 40s. Perfect bill of health.
10 or more drinks per week was associated with a life expectancy one to two years shorter than average
What kind of savage leaves dirty dishes in the sink overnight?
That’s a total deal-breaker for me. I won’t live in a place w/o a dishwasher. No way.
I wonder the same thing myself. I’d like to stop using fossil fuels tomorrow, but it ain’t gonna happen tomorrow. The alternative to shipping by pipeline is shipping by rail, which is far more dangerous and unreliable.
Here in the NYC area, the forsythia have finally started to bloom. They are about a month late. I saw my first crocus March 28, and they usually appear in early March. There are still piles of old snow at the curb, which I can’t recall ever seeing this late in April.
