Of course it did!

If 16 years of Catholic school taught me something, it’s that pulling out is the least effective method of preventing climate change
I left my wife.
It’s believed that ticks actually thrive on the common Japanese Barberry plant, which can be found in millions of suburban lots across the US (and that has escaped into the wild). This invasive shrub is thorny and discourages would-be predators from eating the ticks that hang out there.
Mosquitoes do not care about the length of your lawn. I can’t believe how many people believe this myth.
A friend of mine turned his suburban lawn into a wildflower meadow. When the local health inspector stopped by to visit due to complaints from the neighbors, he produced receipts for the seeds showing that his lawn wasn’t a tangle of unkempt weeds.
I would bet that over 2/3 of Rangers tickets are corporate-owned. The last time I was there, it seemed that bros in suits outnumbered fans wearing team jerseys.
I was visiting friends in Pittsburgh about 5 years ago and the cheapest regular-season Pens tickets I could find were $100 a pop. I declined.
IIRC from reading the book, black men and women were called “Children of Ham” and were segregated from the rest of society.
I’m stuck in a dull public-sector job (career) because I am in the pension system. I am also counting the days until retirement. After 20 years in my field, I have learned to appreciate the perks of my job (work hours, commute, pleasant colleagues, lots of vacation days, etc.) that motivate me to leave the office…
I attended ND in the late 1980s. The school didn’t even have a chapter of College Democrats. I wouldn’t have called it “ultra-conservative” but it was definitely a place where an aspiring young Republican would feel welcome.
By 2019, booking a seat with such a hook will set you back an extra $8 on all airlines except for Southwest.
The CBS reporter should have asked Putin the answer to the real question we all want to know: “Will Ilya Kovalchuk return to the NHL?”
Renting cars has become very expensive for the average consumer. I usually can’t find any midsize sedan for under $40/day at my local airport. About 10 years ago, finding bargains at $19/day wasn’t uncommon.
You were probably charged $45/day for that Yaris.
My parents bought a base-model 1985 Cutlass Ciera. The brakes would lock with the slightest touch. Far and away, that was the shittiest car I ever owned. Even worse than my Audi.
It’s insufferable. Last night was something along the lines of “all rise for the Judge.”
I’m a 5-star driver for Lyft and I often drive servers to and from their restaurant jobs. I am disappointed that very few, if any of them tip. The best tip I received last week was a $3 tip on a $4 fare from a dishwasher :-)
Amtrak hasn’t served Grand Central Terminal since 1991.
As the owner of a similar Grand Cherokee, I agree!
