I doubt it warrants a whole article, but I would be interested to hear more about the 'backfire' aspect of the Tu22M. Has the system been proven effective, is it a gimmick, or is it unproven but considered quite capable?

I knew we could get along. My rant was directed at the people that literally rotate them around their head, or take them off, then put them on backwards. Like literally covering the eyes in the back of their head. You wouldn't be covering the eyes in the back of your head, technically, because your glasses are

Thanks for pointing out a situation that may necessitate wearing them backwards; I've personally never been presented with that dilemma.

Are you kidding, this is the proper way to wear your glasses on your head. The bro-tastic way is to wear them backwards on your head, as if you were covering the eyes in the back of your head.

For a split second, I thought it was Mayer too, but then quickly realized it was the front man for JEW. Then I also realized: "yes, my dream garage would have live Jimmy Eat World performances too!"

The fact that you can actually hear them get on the throttle, makes me not feel bad for them at all. Driving like an idiot = no sympathy.

Thanks for the reply. You're not getting away from the genre then. It's easy to forget that there are other options like the Atom out there. The Atom certainly gets all the press for sure. I guess it should though, because I can at least picture an Atom on the street, but a Radical (or Palatov) would be ludicrous

I agree, why'd you sell it, and what did you replace it with? I have a S2000, so I don't think I'll ever get to have an Atom, so what would drive you to get rid of something that is widely considered a dream car? You almost certainly couldn't have replaced it with something more capable... Be honest, were track

Bringing this article back from the dead...

Gotta watch the video, the Cruiser has some surprise, redemptive, qualities!

There's a certain demographic that would like it, and an obvious demographic that would not be happy about it. From a manufacturing / cost standpoint, there's no arguing the merits of it. I'm just saying it's coming.

This shouldn't be almost certainly isn't the Type R that makes it to America. The Type R that was initially coming to America is based on the all new Civic platform, and I'm pretty sure this Type R is still based on the old platform. This sure looks like the final evolution of the Euro hatch style, and the next gen

I'm 32, with a S2000 and 135i (manual too), so not super old and able to claim a decent amount of Jalop-ness, and I absolutely LOVE our Grand Cherokee with all of the doodads. Blind spot monitoring, back-up camera, forward collision warning, and BEST of all, automatic cruise control.

As big as that was, it makes me wonder about the (intentional) explosion that happened a few years ago in Indy when someone blew their house up to collect insurance, and ended up killing two of the neighbors. Both houses were completely erased. 3 people were charged and went to jail for it.

Anyone want to fancy a guess, or calculations, how thick that concrete pad has to be that they're all standing on? Sheesh

And broke his arm. You can see it folded in half when he picks it up and its spilling blood everywhere. Rough day

AMEN

The Indiana plant makes the Civic Hybrid as well, so they have some experience / capability / tooling capable of dealing with battery packs. They got rid of the 5 door because building the hatch posed a concern from a layout / tooling standpoint, so rule out crossovers.

Usually the Temple of VTEC has a pretty accurate model matrix that lays all of that out. And HRAO works on a lot of projects at once.
