I feel like the permadeath thing wouldn’t be so bad if the game had some kind of “rescue” mechanic for characters that get one-shotted by an enemy that just teleports in from nowhere. I think Valkyria Chronicles had a good balance... since all the classes were ranged classes, odds are any character that gets ‘killed”

Fans would eat up limited editions, day one bundles and even console bundles without any hesitation. Shit,

As far as the experience goes, whether or not its story is the best doesn't matter all the much. NNK was an extremely well-delivered experience with enthralling music, great visuals, and enjoyable gameplay. A lot of great JRPGs are missing that breath of life, and NNK brings the experience together. I can't say

Ni No Kuni is a game that, while looking like a kid game, is about the toughest subject to write about: death. The fact that the games is designed well enough that in the middle of the monster collection and grinding and bosses you get a good amount of story and character, and when the emotional moments in the last
