Why are you ruining my St. Paddy’s Day beer?
Why are you ruining my St. Paddy’s Day beer?
This is a great idea. I hope she sees that and does it.
It’s always what happens. We put these girls up on a pedestal, and then people say she’s overrated and not deserving of the attention that we gave her. Whatever, I’m still going to love her.
Plain Jane is one of my favorites. It’s too true.
She used to be alomost universally loved around these parts. Those days are gone, it’s true. But I still have a reasonable emotional girl-chub for her.
I love her too! Just hours ago I was watching her clips on youtube and cracking up.
And I have the “You don’t need make up” song stuck in my head.
Amy Schumer does not need to apologize for having a great fucking year. She should make a promo where she’s taking a victory lap and she’s ......I dunno, holding two flaming dildos up as torches*
I love her. I know that’s not the consensus on this site, but I think she’s awesome and hilarious and I’m so excited for this next season.
I used to work in a preschool. One of my boys, age 3, was allowed to watch violent movies at home. Result? He was violent to other kids and adults. He hit, kicked, and spit at me. He threw sticks at me. He threw chairs at other people. He used explicit language in the classroom. He drew a picture of a man with a gun…
I hope the theatre refused refunds since there's a clear fucking rating.
So, my parents didn’t censor me or my brother. We saw R-rated movies before we were 6. The thing is- we did this at home. Kids run around, ask questions, talk, etc. when watching a movie with parts they don’t understand. This way, they gave us age-apporpriate explanations for what was happening in said movies and we…
I feel like it’s worth pointing out that families are the reason why drive-in movies were invented. You can take the whole family to the movies for a flat, by-the-carload rate. The first movie is typically family-friendly PG or G rated. And your kids can be as loud and wild as they want in your car without disturbing…
Honestly it sounds like a case of “we can’t have a woman complaining.” Her complaints never seemed absurd.
When I went to see The Dark Knight, it was a 10pm showing and multiple people had children under the age of 6 there. A few were sleeping babies that woke up crying during the intensely loud action scenes, but either quieted down quickly or were taken out of the room. But the worst was the couple about 10 seats over, 2…
The Drafthouse (mentioned in this article) allows no kids under 18 without a parent.
I just saw a movie at the Drafthouse last night. I will almost exclusively only go to movies at one of their theaters. In addition to serving food and (alcoholic) drinks, there are no kids and a strictly-enforced no talking policy, including no cell phone use. Tickets are the same price as “regular” theaters, but the…
Scott Disick taking a girl to Joe Francis’ house is more rape-y than a windowless white van with Stone Temple Pilots’ “Sex Type Thing” blasting on the stereo, driven by a guy wearing a ski mask.
I actually know someone who was in a short lived punk band named “Normcore”. It was all songs about Cheers. Much better than the trend.
Normcore.
