I’ve not driven a new Ford Truck, but I don’t think they have a choice with the Torque on Demand hardware. It defaults to “automatic AWD” that senses slip and engages the fronts as needed. It also has options for 4-hi, 4-lo, and full time AWD. The older hardware is RWD, 4HI, 4LO.

I’m as die hard manual hatchback fan as there could be and even I wouldn’t buy this. My first car was a 5 speed Ford Festiva. I’d rather had the Festiva than this.
