I’m a bit confused, if he was getting up near weight limits with a 3500 dually, why would he switch to a 2500? Is there something I’m missing here?

Now you just gotta be redlining the engine everywhere you go while weaving in and out of traffic to have the true Nissan experience
2nd Gear: That overvaluation is looking more and more like the other car companies are undervalued.
It boggles my mind that GM is the sales king any year. I can’t think of a single GM vehicle that is class leading, it’s like they assume they’ll always and forever sell vehicles no matter how bad they are.
You can think all that... but you’d be misguided. Fuel economy is at most 1mpg off of a sedan. Storage space is comparable, if not better, and it’s more usable, since loading kids/stuff is easier in a CUV. Handling? Nobody is taking a Murano to a track day. The handling constraints of a modern daily driver spec car…
Everybody should read the sub-REDDIT written by the ex-Tesla software developers... it's a complete house of cards.
Thank god they actually killed this POS this year or it would be number one on my list
The Buick Encore should go. Not because of the points from the main article above, but because it’s just... Pointless. It’s looks like an overgrown Smart Car; Eg, based on the same architecture as a roller skate, but with a higher center of gravity. At least with a standard SUV/Crossover, you get some cargo space.
Are you suggesting we take funds that were allocated for police departments and redirect them to other services that help the public? That sounds suspiciously like the argument made by the “defund the police” crowd.
The Ford Ecosport is a bad vehicle in every conceivable way and should Ford should be ashamed for still selling it in this market.
I mean, I get your snark, but at the same time, how often do you see new cop cars vs new school buses, new city buses, new garbage trucks, new snow plows, new fire trucks? Seriously, as soon as the new Explorers and Tahoes were out, it took like a month or two to already see the local & state police with them. Why do…
The BMW 2-Series Gran Coupe should have died. It’s a miserable shitbox
That interior looks even better in person - top tier design.
I love the way the lines flow from the doors into the instruments, then cascade back down to the center console and back up the other side. Very cohesive, really well executed.
Dear Aztek apologists,
I’ve lived in Europe, they don’t love small cars, they tolerate them due to size limitations of their streets and tax schemes that make them the most affordable to own.
You see numbers, I see reality. I was selling Jeep products when the Renegade hit the market. I worked in Colorado Springs at a 60 year old dealership that had an off road test track. I would take the TrailHawk version on it and blow people away. I would show them how quick and nimble the Renegade was on the road and…
A little over 62k of them were sold last year in the US. That’s even better than European sales, so I don’t really get the theme of this article either.
Sells roughly 100k a year = “a non starter”.
The Cherokee is rated for 23/31 while the Renegade is rated for 23/30 (and Grand Cherokee at 19/26). I own a Renegade and greatly like it, but it’s no gas sipper.
Alternate headline “Gas is expensive everywhere but US, everywhere else buys small cars” I just summed up the whole article in 11 words.
