After Square herp-derped their message by pointing out the "failing" sales of this game, Crystal Dynamics came out and publicly stated how PROUD they were of the game's market performance. It was definitely a war-of-words. And seeing how the top brass at Square is getting shaken up, I'm guessing CD's message won ;)

For me, this is bringing back memories of the Dickwolf debacle from Penny Arcade.
