Worked for Gamestop for 3 years as a store manager. I was fired for paying my employees out of pocket to help me out off the clock because corporate pulled all my hours during Christmas time so I was soloing a fucking store by myself. I doubt none of this.

The fuck is wrong with you

My forensics degree is only from SVU but my impression is that stabbing takes a lot of strength and stamina to actually kill someone and a teen girl may not always have enough.

“Seemingly unconcerned with its beauty editor’s serious substance abuse issues”

I’ll miss it, if only because I was allowed to participate in the comments section at XO. I’ve been here since well before Kinja debuted, and I was an approved commenter then. In April I’ll be celebrating 4 years in the grays. Maybe I’ll bake a cake! /kicks rocks

I wrote a IHTM that wasn’t really embarrassing and people thought it was funny. I’m still on the fence whether I regret it. For one thing, xoJane was a bright spot for a moment... The commenters were familiar like they (sometimes) are here, and the place wasn’t always a circus. And I mean, the hyper confessional stuff

I think it’s worth to also point out that xojane was filled with some memorable shit. Michelle Tea’s essay series? It wasn’t all bad.

She. Is. A. CHILD.

Yeah, definitely risk ruining any chance of a positive, trusting relationship with your kid on the offchance (idk, what, a .001% chance?) that he or she is running around randomly murdering people...

No, don’t do that shit. Most children aren’t murderers writing about it in their journals. Most children deserve privacy and not to have their parents violate them by reading their private thoughts. Writing is healthy.

The fuck’s wrong with this kid? Everyone knows you incriminate yourself on social media these days.

Oh God. I’m not going to post more from there, but rest assured that it goes on like this. I wasn’t so much scrolling down the page as descending it.

Showed the WaPo article to a friend, she made the mistake of going into the comments and quickly found these two near the top. Spectacular.

I need to be that kitten right now.

She’s a minor. Nobody is going to sentence a minor to life in prison. Even when they probably should.

That’s pretty textbook sociopathic behavior. (I don’t want you to think I’m excusing it or something, because I’m definitely not, just pointing out that I’m completely unsurprised.)

I blame the parenting. Who raises a psychopath and doesn’t tell them to not keep a journal?

15 years? I’ve seen enough movies to know she’s going to go straight from prison to working as a hood for organized crime, where she’ll kill her way to the top of the organization within two years.

So very sad.

Ahhh, but the feeling you get when you realize you didn’t raise a psychopath is truly amazing!
