They lowered the level for Ingress Players to suggest new points of interest (The stops and gyms in Pokemon Go). The mechanics for Ingress are totally different than PoGo. If you enjoy strategy RPGs, Ingress would be great.

This happens in Niantic games when in-game endorsement deals end. This will happen when the Starbucks deal ends in the States too.
