And so, I believe I’ve discovered something about the Skyline that holds true about the E46 BMW M3, stanced Golfs, and countless other cars: owning the car is a lot of fun.

Not as many as those of us who realize that you’re this guy:

I want to love it... I really do. But I can't scratch the feeling that this will be overdone. Over powerful, over heavy, over ugly (I just can't like that front). Why do most cars these days (BMW very much so) have to be so overdone/complicated? Argh

“Russian Troll is Russian is a raging anti-semite.”

Do the S52.

It’s the psychotic ‘we’

“I can’t tell if you are a white supremacist, a radical Islamist, or paid by the Kremlin.”

OK. I’ll give you that, since I agree with your analysis. I guess they are going for the volume, and thus leaving performance buyers like us to remember the good old days..

“Bullshit. Anyone who’s been paying attention knows that ISIS is a proxy army for the West and that Russia had every right to protect its people and interests in the Crimea.”

“Russia is bombing the he’ll out of ISIS, otherwise you and the rest of the Israelis wouldn’t be so pissed, right?”

It hasn’t “lost its way”, they have just moved off of mission statement. That’s totally acceptable since they appear to be more profitable than ever. However, not everyone will be thrilled with the “pivot” (I for one am on team “fuck yo pivot”).

I was blasted for making this "trite" comment about the possibility of Ferrari going to a modular platform (the one damn car company in the history of ever that can own the word "bespoke") but seriously capitalism ruins everything eventually.

I tried one for a lark. The tires alone are abominable. It can accelerate, sure. But it sucks to drive. Sorry.

Indeed.

Have you driven an i3?

What this means, is that the likelihood of my next purchase being a BMW is less than it otherwise might have been. But that’s OK. There are still plenty of car makers who understand performance enthusiasts. Oh, and ever since the ‘i3’ came out, they really should stop calling their product ‘the ultimate driving

All true, and if the first time this had occured I believe Turkey would have done as you suggest. However, this isn’t the 1st time, it’s a pattern of Russia thumbing it’s nose at Turkey and NATO in general and intentionally provoking NATO countries.

Well I live in Turkey and this is exactly my feeling right now.

So do sleeping pills dissolved in energy drinks.
