Considering that they control 70% of our wealth and they largely don’t pay their fair share of taxes, why even include the middle class in a tax hike?

Your post is misleading and a slippery slope. 70% of the country’s wealth is controlled by the top 1%.
That is complete and utter horse manure, the top 1% of the population controls 70% of the country’s wealth. Higher taxes for them actually means the middle class could have their taxes lowered.
I bought my Mustang GT in February for $8k off MSRP. I feel insanely lucky right now.
As a 6 speed Mustang GT driver, you are dead wrong. Troll harder next time.
LMAO, that's fair.
What precisely has not aged well? I would argue that Mustangs made 2005 and after have aged very well.
I bought a new base GT 301a with a 6 speed earlier this year. They are out there.
In no way am I defending the price of these, but I drove one new with a stick and they are an absolute riot when they are running right. This isn’t a car you will drive often, this is something that is a toy. Is it worth $11,500? Hell no. But just listen to that W8 and tell me that it is not one of the greatest sounds…
Would I buy this dinosaur of a sports car new? Over a 911? Yeah, I would take a very serious look at this. I still absolutely love these and this is the easiest way to buy one without having to hope that it wasn’t tuned to within an inch of it’s life, raced, or rolled over at some point.
What town? My car needs a ceramic coat.
These mods make this car illegal to register in California. I also question how they are getting that much power out of a stock turbo, even with DP and exhaust, which there must be a tune there.
Having free access to a Model S, I can safely say that you are drinking too much of the Musk Kool-Aid. Yes, Tesla made ground breaking advancements in electric cars, but they are too high on their own hubris right now and they have made some downright dumb decisions recently, the yoke just being the latest one. There…
Historical monuments are meant to share history, not be profitable. The Texas is also in far better condition than the QM and they are also supporting this with private donations. They also would be putting the ship in a dry berth, so she would no longer float. The state would also have to kick some money in, but the…
What year MKV? Did it have the FSI or TSI engine? The FSIs had issues with the cam followers that created big problems. The TSIs 2008.5 up were much more reliable.
I have been on the VW scene a long time. I have seen really great cars and really terrible ones like my buddy’s MKIV GTI 337. My wife and I have had 5 VWs between us with only the occasional service bulletin and oil changes. VWs do have a well earned reputation from 20-25 years ago, but it really doesn’t apply today.
Let’s simplify this, let’s make a drinking game out of how far she makes it. One shot for every mile she makes it. You will be depressingly sober afterwards.
The USS Texas makes sense to fix though. It is the last Dreadnought battleship, it’s guns were crucial in North Africa and D-Day, and it is the last warship to serve in both world wars. The dry berth is also a really good idea as it means there won’t be anymore saltwater touching her after her refit.
That’s the messed up thing, she does love the car, but the average consumer won’t put up with this BS, we are still in the stage where Tesla has Stans galore waiting in line for these cars. And consumer satisfaction doesn’t tell the whole story, like how the average person may be turned off by the bad build quality of…
This isn’t Jason vs Tesla, it is Tesla getting called out for their usual shenanigans and Stans jumping to defend Tesla.
