exactly. Mary frequently makes dumb decisions like the one she made this ep to kill rather than jail the noble's son because of her ego that people excuse because she's a young queen. When her actions come back to bite her next ep a million and one excuses will be made for her.

it was my understanding that happened a month ago. so they've been working it through it since then. there was another time jump between this ep and the last. I dont know why the show keeps doing these time jumps.
