Go find someone else to do this with, asshole.

I think it is something that likely felt so revolutionary and innovative in the 80's when it debuted, and to an extent when we first read it.
Agreed. I was out mentally from that first fight.
Without a doubt the best decision he made in the film was using Glass' Koyanisqaatsi score, particularly for the Dr. Manhattan sequence (edit—the main "Dr. Manhattan sequence"), which is actually a really great movie inside a really bad one.
Jesus no one cares.
Interesting, I honestly gave up on the Transformers movies after the first. I'll check it out.
Ok, back on Shia's side again. Weird couple years.
Nice.
Wait so what is the story on the rift with Sandler? How dumb do you have to be to screw up the relationship that gets you a perpetual role in the neverending stream of Sandler movies? Like Rob Schneider level dumb?
I couldn't agree more. Was talking to my girlfriend about this and she said the same thing! "Doesn't want to take actual risks."
With all the issues biopics bring. Should have been called ALI'S GREATEST HITS. Still, some pretty excellent scenes, Jamie Foxx is great, beautiful editing, but yeah. Will Smith's best film, Michael Mann's worst?

They were never as good as they seemed when we were 15.
Seriously. This douchebag wrote an ENTIRE book about that sort of music-snobbery. Shaming it, mocking it, etc.
"You cannot love Mike Patton and Anthony Kiedis, because they are two different people. You have to love Mike Patton, you cannot love Anthony Kiedis."
Bill Zehme's "Lost in the Funhouse" and Julie Hecht's "Was This Man a Genius?" are waaaaaay better insights into the guy.
When MAN ON THE MOON came out, I was able to see an advanced screening, including an appearance from Zmuda. He'd just published a book on their relationship, "Andy Kaufman Revealed!" that was much, much different than this (more just a straightforward history of their work together, with some generous pats on the back…
Damn straight! Not to be sappy, but I read that at 16 and it had an enormous impact on me.
