“Fourth and 5, the National Championship on the line.” -Keith Jackson

I thoroughly enjoyed your piece, but even more so, I'm super intrigued by your thoughtful replies to interesting questions about it...

1) Great Lakes Christmas Ale

As a Senior in HS, we played a pick-up game toward the end of the school year. It was the Seniors, and some guys back from college, against the underclassmen. Due to numbers, I decided to play with the underclassmen.

I got block by Bomani Jones. He was talking about "Zone is for cowards" during a 'Cuse game and I tried to talk abou this stance. Mind you a 'Cuse game is happening on ESPN and he played the "I'm not talking about Syracuse, you brought them up" card. I said sweet First Take and he promptly blocked me.

Tom Brady has actually done the opposite... his agents put out that "Touchdown Tawmy has taken less money so the Pats can pay more players." Yet, he's been at the top of (or near) the pay scale every year.

Amazing that you just posted this...

Mountains, molehills... etc. I read this column first, and formed an opinion that was close to (if not exactly) the authors belief, before I read the actual transcript. And now, having read exactly what Boeheim said, I feel stupid for doing so.

It's good they spoke to him... you need to be safe when you're On Deadly Ground

I had the exact same reaction... it looks a LOT like Lakers Bro

All Marlon Byrd t-shirts play second fiddle to this gem

I admit, I used to really enjoy Wilbon. He was a good, thoughtful, and unafraid writer. But now that he's a celebrity, and as such cannot rip his new famous (especially NBA) friends, he's everything Drew says he is. Its pathetic what he's become.

Having Keith Jackson calling '06 USC/Texas in the Rose Bowl was a near perfect College Football moment... what would be the exact opposite?

Is there any way to prevent the Matt Barkley coverage becoming Tebow-like insufferable?
