If you ever saw Milo & Otis, it deserves its own website. Viewers probably witnessed the real deaths of lots of animals. :(

I forgot about that. I saw Elijah Wood and thought of the Maniac remake where he was pretty good
“Since other people have problems we should go ahead and ignore problems of the people we don’t like.”
I never said they shouldn’t have equal rights under the Constitution. My argument was, few people in America get a fair shake, so why waste energy on Nazis? Maybe look into egregious due process violations affecting minorities or whatever, if you’re so concerned about the application of the Constitution.
Speaking from a strictly legal standpoint, sure, Nazis can assemble and if they aren’t actively being violent, then it’s whatever.
Much of Columbus is pretty nice. see: Short North/campus/arena district, probably other spots
Do you worry that the people you’re dicking over have unmonitored access to your food? or do you never order twice from the same place?
A colleague of my teacher friend did this at work. It was awful
no, just at work
Do you know what to do with carry-out orders? I know a tip is in order, but it seems weird to do 20% when there was very little service involved.
This is a bad rule to universally apply. If you know the fee goes to the driver, fine (depending on the fee, maybe throw a few $ on top).
that’s a good point. I don’t have twitter and it’s blocked here so I didn’t see them
I don’t think the definition is the problem. People think if you say it’s not racist, then it must be perfectly fine.
She’s an influential Harvard Law graduate just hired at one of the foremost newspapers in the world. There are few people she, individually, could punch up to. Using one aspect of your person, that conceivably puts you in a disadvantaged position in a specific context, to justify making bigoted, rude jokes is bad form…
This makes sense, but isn’t that redefining racism in a more contemporary/academic way? I know The Root’s position on this, but the common definition of racism doesn’t necessarily imply oppression, right? I agree with all these premises, but how do you differentiate between this definition of racism and someone…
I’m not going to begrudge some E-5 his salary and benefits, but having worked with a lot of these people, a shocking number of them would be almost unemployable outside of the military.
Inflicting 80% of German battle deaths is a good way to measure the impact of the USSR. How many Russians died doesn’t tell you much of anything.
that is adorable
Telling a story you’re not part of is just called acting (or writing or any creative endeavor). It is possible to sensitively tell a story or portray a character that isn’t strictly autobiographical.
I really like In Good Company.
