The jackass in me wants to say I use comic sans for everything possible (which I do), but the engineer in me is too busy cringing that the idiot designer didn't include directionality in any of the connections, making the flowchart incredibly difficult to follow.

Man, looking through the records for pretty much all of my congress-folk, I'm appalled by how much time is wasted on useless crap.

@abates25: Quite the opposite. GSM can do simultaneous voice & data because it has 2 different radios while CDMA has one radio used for both.

@PJ Edwards: According to the article Netflix made $43.5 million (net) in Q2 2010. They're not losing money at all, just not making it as fast as they'd like.

@ehejl: Ocean != fresh drinking water. The water is being pumped up from the ocean you're floating on.

@gtaz19: Because it won't just flip back over? You could counter this by making the rotation mechanism stiffer, but then it becomes difficult to rotate the magnet intentionally as well, so that's no answer. A locking mechanism could work, but adds considerable mechanical complexity to what I'm sure is intended to be

@MrCheatachu: So you want battery-operated scissors? Good plan.

@CoHPhasor: That's what I wanted to see. Especially with the guy getting in close with the camera.

@sneakypoo: Well I'd rather not go to the site at work to get a quote to support it, but as I said before it's my understanding, backed up by a quote I read from the creator of this questionable device, that it's not supposed to penetrate the skin of the penis. With that in mind, "barbs" as they're using it still

@sneakypoo: These don't appear to be barbed. The woman who created these claims it's not supposed to penetrate the skin, so I don't know why they'd bother putting barbs on the hooks. A fish hook on the other hand has a barb on the tip that catches when you try to pull it out.

So aside from the arguments why this is a bad idea that have already been posted, what's to stop the guy from just cutting this thing off with a scalpel/xacto/generic sharp knife? That's all the doctor's going to do.

Why wouldn't you black out the credit card number? I'd be pretty pissed if that was my card and somebody put most of the number on a rather popular website.

I don't get it. It was like boring, slow base jumping with bad music.

@ethanthekiwi: Ah, I see that part now. Makes more sense, not sure what I was thinking before.

@TheFu: Even SSL isn't invincible. Believe me, I'm not trying to keep out the hardcore hackers. If they really want to get my data they can as long as I'm using some form of wireless connection. The only people I'm really trying to stop is the script kiddies and jackasses who are only messing with my data because

To put this in context I'd like to see the distribution of different brands registered with SquareTrade (for example Apple's numbers could be artificially low because most Apple owners I know have Applecare and not a SquareTrade warranty). It's also worth considering that this does not (as far as I can tell) take

@TheFu: It's possible but not terribly convenient, and it would rule out streaming internet radio, which is a frequent use for my phone. I also don't particularly trust open wifi with any of my account credentials, so email is out the window for that too. And having to specifically take out my *internet* phone just

I hate seeing these articles because I barely use any minutes every month and yet I use a ton of data. And I like having a good smartphone. Limited data service and crappy phones that may not even be capable of doing much data anyways just doesn't do it for me these days, regardless of the savings.
