You got to fly when most tickets cost the same as a used car and hijackings were common; good for you. Prices went down, access went up. This came with more people, less space, and thus more conflict. Add in tons more security, and things are different now.

Because a) I’ve been doing this shit for 25+ years and until they started charging for bags and reducing the seats to sizes adequate only for lilliputians, I never had any issues flying for business b) because I, much like a baby or a plus-sized person didn’t get a say with regard to my body type, although I know a

because we don’t have enough issues with classism as it already is?

So... A policy that greatly favors prime-aged, able-bodied men? I see no possible issues there.

oh, maybe we can get some much needed economy hammocks hanging over our heads.

But if we get rid of the overhead bins where will we shove the crying babies?

My wife and I own his-and-hers SRX600s. A couple years ago the fella who runs the FB fan club arranged to have the designer Ichijo-san come out and give a lecture here in the Bay Area, followed by a SRX group ride around the bay.

We went to Japan about six months later and they were kind enough to lead us on a group

“Civic Sis are easier to find, but usually have mileage in the seven-to-eight digit range.”

They have a voice. If you just want a facts and figures car review, there are many, many better places on the internet. But these reviews come from real people, from a real place (for better or worse, Central PA), and it comes through in the reviews (plus poop and dick jokes). RCR plus Top Gear reawakened my interest

Headlights go up! Headlights go down!”

“I posted a plea on a site full of enablers for reasons not to buy this, and they couldn’t come up with any. I guess I should buy it.”

90s years later, a vaccine being controversial has come full circle and we only need to swap the workers with BLM or LGBTQ to get the same public outcry. Though a union of retail/fast food workers could even keep the theme and the controversy. That’s some good art.

I tried to buy one in early 2019. Then the dealer tried to mark it up $3k and add a $5k “lifetime warranty”. Add in the general scummy demeanor, giant sweaty manager blocking me from leaving and I wasn’t buying anything Kia after experiencing Dan OBrien’s bullshit.

It’s glorious to behold

Be a true Jalop, get the Dakota.

You know, the Murano Convertible is growing on me.

Someone who can’t have fun with a convertible that is otherwise a boring car, can’t have fun.

These are all mostly good options, but the secret is almost any convertible in working order is fun. I bet that Buick Cascada thing was just delightful with the top down, even if it did seem like a high-sided FWD bunker generally.

I agree.  Had an NA when I was in my early 20s.  Sold it and recently picked up another at age 50.  Still love it.  Highway drone can be a thing, but around town or on non-interstate highways, it’s a joy.
