Those stupid fucking wheels tell me everything I need to know about this car, and what they tell me is no dice.
Whadexityouoffa?
Sweet article – but whoever edits, or pretends to edit the titles, please don’t do things like this. At no point is this piece, which is basically saying ‘I like the Turnpike and have nice experiences relating to it,’ advancing even close to a real argument that the Turnpike is a great road. Why not ‘A Love Letter to…
I think the numbers for 2021 etc are skewed.
I’ve actually always been very fond of the Renegade’s styling, and this is a decent update, IMO. It looks a bit more fresh, without totally abandoning the look. To me it looks more “serious” than angry.
more the punisher logo, which has been adopted by all the racist treason monkeys as a symbol of their treasonous intent.
the most laughable one is the thin blue line punisher logo...
angry jeep eyes are dumb. about 30% of the jeeps in my area have the angry eyes grill kit and punisher logos. it’s like playing “spot the racist!”
German here. Fuel costs are a bit different. Assuming about 40mpg for the petrol car, and prices of 1.35€/litre (normal here as an average over the past years, currently rather at 1.65€/litre), we come to an amount of 117450€ for 1.5million kilometers the car has driven.
electricity-wise: Well, supercharger use was…
Can’t their rivals just, I don’t know, fucking raise their own level of performance? If someone is else is dominating then you need to step up your game, don’t just sit there and cry about it.
Yeah but he's on his 4th battery. So if it's 20k(I think it's more) that's 60k extra as the real cost and he probably needs another one soon. The other maintenance is pretty good though; I think just over 20k. Also, agree this isn't a prius, it's a much better car over all, but not what I think is worth 90k.
He has free supercharging!
This car would’ve had free lifetime supercharging, and for taxi use, it would’ve used that benefit almost exclusively. So that $90k can be nixed from the equation, making the difference probably $120k in the Tesla’s favor over the Prius.
There hasn't been $5/gallon gas in Germany for many years.
Wouldn't a Model S of that vintage have unlimited supercharging? If he's going 400 miles a day, then it stays to reason half his charging is via free supercharging.
Also worth considering that just about everything mechanical on an ICE car will need to be replaced several times in a million miles.
You seem to have forgot about the whole purchase price thing.
So 0.3 per kwh in germany, right
He worked in a body shop in the 80s/90s.
