I’ve realized while in a supposedly great job that I hated the work. I’m still in the field/discipline that I’ve loved since I was in high school, but I work kind of adjacent to it and really love what I’m doing.

I had a similar recurring dream this year where I registered for a class, but couldn’t get to it no matter what I did. Like, the campus would be bigger than it was the previous time and I’d be walking and walking and couldn’t get there until half-way through. Or the building changed.

I have a mother and an ex who are always the victims - always. I’m immune to it now, too. Ha. It’s almost an art how they are able to do something extra wrong and then blame the people who got hurt.
