I guess I’m in the minority here, but I think you also need to just hurt for a little bit. Actually, that’s a great point. Since this moved outside of the domestic sphere and into the public with a firearm, it did rise to the level of a law enforcement showdown.

South Carolina’s a great example of what you’re talking about. Yes, it’s all wrapped up. I’ll agree with that. I’d also agree that somehow she’s- for now- survived her injuries and could have done that from a stabbing, burning or whatever.

Thank you, but that relationship is in the past. It’s funny that when I finally got out and cut the ties that I could in this jacked up legal system (we share a child), I was able to see how truly powerless, insecure and miserable he was.

If he didn’t have a gun, he’d have stabbed her or beat her to death, run her down with a car, etc. I’m the biggest advocate for gun control there is, but this is a domestic violence and control issue, not a gun issue.
