There's a very odd animated documentary about Brinkley; it's called NUTS.

Does anyone know when Netflix's Doug Kenney movie "A Stupid and Futile Gesture" is going to drop?

I love me some SKY HIGH.

Regatta de Blanc

And after all those years on "The Electric Company", teaching kids how to spell "no"…

It's not like there's a lot of laid-back, ambling cancer, is there?

Good stuff. Thanks for remembering CREEPSHOW.

Now you see him, now you don't.

"the apolitical blandness of late-night talk."
Not over at Comedy Central. I have pretty much abandoned the Jimmy and Steve. It's pretty much The Daily Show, the Nightly Show and @Midnight for me. The first two are pretty much the opposite of the apolitical blandness of late-night talk.

Check out the "Fatman on Batman" episodes with Mark Hamill. He did a voice for WIZARDS and does a spot-on impression of Bakshi in full blustering anger mode. Apparently, the guy is kind of hard to work for.

If they all pursued entertainment careers, I'd feel a lot better about the future of the world.

Excellent DePalma pull, NealHanna!

Watch it with your Sisters!

Also: "I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass. And I'm all out of gum." Also: the eight-minute fight between Roddy Piper and Keith David. Also: gunning down Kim Richards in the first five minutes of "Assault on Precinct 13".

I'm waiting until November 13, 'cause I can wait. Also because Bob and David work best in the context of an episode's flow from idea to idea.

Oscar Issac as Scorsese, Joaquin Phoenix as Robbie Robertson.

I hate coffee and I quit smoking five years ago. I do like pie and a milkshake, but I don't think this will work out.

With Vaughn at the helm, at least I should be able to stay awake. No offense to any of the artistes involved, but TINKER TAILOR put me to sleep like English Ambien. Then again, it's not really a spy movie to me unless there's at least one speed boat chase, because I'm American, and therefore shallow.

I couldn't find it on the VOD page of new releases but if you search by genre for documentaries, it's there. Well worth the effort. I'm glad someone put the Lampoon in some kind of historical perspective.

Salesman. Please.
