These are reliable cars. I have enjoyed my 2013 for nine years and 150k.

Cars last twice, even three times as long, as they did in 1995.   A $20k Corolla is a wise investment that can take a kid into adulthood. 

I’ll be the asshole troll, and say that once you’ve attended a few funerals, you realize life is too damn short for this stuff. Even among your most treasured hobbies. There’s a reason BaT exists: you skip to the good stuff. 

I did a LOT of research on minivans a year ago. As much as I like FCA products for their price/feature ratio, I cannot recommend the Pacifica hybrid. There’s just waaaay too many stories on the user forums for my comfort. I use my van for work, so it must have 100% uptime.

My company’s field software is mobile. I don’t use it for that reason. It’s my work secret.

I don’t tolerate any caller’s decision to mess up call audio. Car bluetooth, taco-talking, speakerphone, whatever. I just tell them it’s a bad connection and they should call back.

I’m really genuinely wondering... where were all these autistic kids 20 years ago? They seem to be everywhere now, and surely they weren’t all shut-ins back then.

Always cracks me up, that the “what’s happening to the Olympic viewership” analyses never include this opinion. It’s always something about increased choice, time zones, etc etc. Nobody ever asks “how many people have significant issues with the IOC and/or the Olympics in general?”

Here’s why I don’t want to watch it:
