The Jaunt is a great short story. There’s barely enough for a half hour Twilight Zone episode. But then, they made two movies out of The Lawnmower Man.

I thought part of the problem with At the Mountains of Madness is that Prometheus came out and GDT felt the plot was too similar.

Streaming music and movies involves pre-buffering in order to prevent stutter and loss. This is impossible with gaming and therefore is not at all the same.

Video can be prebuffered - it has no bearing in this argument.

Tbf, you still can’t really beat bluray if you’re trying to get the best possible picture quality out of a home movie. A 4K HDR stream doesn’t have shit on a proper bluray transfer.

You know what is shocking - a full refund on the hardware and the games. That is actually pretty impressive of Google to do that. I feel most companies would have just killed it and moved on.
