The first half of Evil Dead II, when it’s just the Bruce Campbell show, is Raimi’s best work by far, and the absolute high point of horror-comedy in general. However, the movie loses all of its momentum when the rest of the cast shows up at the halfway mark.

And there’s part of the problem. You picture every Republican owned state as filled up with trash. Some of them are good people who share your views. Some of them are less informed and if they heard a wider variety of opinions, they might even change theirs.

I think a lot of progressive/liberal messaging is just a circle jerk anyway. The message wasn’t intended for the people being screwed over in red states, it’s for people ‘in the know’ to hear, nod, and pat themselves on the back about.

If you live in a nice safe blue state and care about abortion, why don’t you move to a red state and vote there?
