Man, I haven’t played this game since about 2000 but I still feel like I’m more qualified to answer than the majority of your responses.

Weirdly the later PS5s are slightly worse than the earlier ones cause they put in a lousier wifi card (irrelevant if you’re on ethernet). They shrank the heatsink, too, but that doesn’t make much difference in theory. But, yeah, unlike the PS2/3 the later models are not better in this case.
That’s absolutely the case. I bet the stuff that gets watched the most is some of the worst on there. While their huge library of classics probably makes up like 1% of traffic, if that. I hate it but it is what it is. If they follow the “make more of what people watch, take down what they aren’t!!” content is going to…
I suspect the latency issues inherent to Airplay would make those games unplayable unless you’re on the easiest possible difficulty and aren’t bothered by the response time.
Yes, I thought it was a bad photoshop of Data!
Eh, I think the second episode of that show was already fantastic (the one with Charlie’s “kid” showing up, and Dennis hanging out at an abortion protest). Seinfeld, now THERE’S a classic show where the first season (or two!) stinks.
The Scholar of the First Sin edition (the only one available on PS4/Xbox One) shakes up some areas of the map big time from the original version of DS2, and they overdid it, IMO, with the enemy density on the first few areas. The forest of fallen giants and especially heide’s tower of flame can feel insurmountable…
Yeah, just if he’s already ambivalent about the game, going on a wild goose chase when he doesn’t know where the portal OR the key are to get to the DLC (it’s really not intuitive, at all) doesn’t seem like it would make him too inclined to push through.
SOTFS does have the DLC but it’s a lot harder to get to. You should look up guides on how to get to it. They put the keys to get into the DLC areas in really obscure locations. In vanilla if you bought the DLC it just dropped them in your inventory; SOTFS has it all integrated more organically.
If you’re playing DS2:Scholar of the First Sin then the game peaks in difficulty early. If you’re playing DS2 vanilla then it gets nastier much later on and ends up being harder than Scholar. The DLC areas are also a gigantic step up in difficulty from the base game and feel a lot harder than anything in DS1.
Yep, it’s 10 bucks for a brand new Quake II remaster that runs at an insane framerate, is 4K, still has multiplayer, includes both PC expansions and the entire N64 campaign, and includes a whole new campaign on top of that. Versus 50 bucks for this lazy port that removes content and doesn’t boost the graphics nearly…
This is one of those movies where it’s clear that it’s going to be a gigantic box office bomb no matter how good the reviews are. Hopefully it and The Flash losing hundreds of millions doesn’t mean DC’s going to back off on the James Gunniverse movies (I am sure that will happen if/when the first movies he’s…
They made games for each movie (I think) - I played one on Wii for a while that was actually pretty good as far as movie tie-ins go. I think maybe it was Order of the Phoenix? It had a decently detailed (for Wii’s tech limitations) version of Hogwarts that you could explore and the graphics were pretty good by the…
Yeah, that’s me, I’m not even thinking about touching this till it’s in the 30 dollars or less range. As far as I know the digital version has not gone under 50 bucks so far.
Everything on this list besides maybe Lesbian Vampire Killers or Bloodrayne looks pretty darn good compared to tons and tons of movies like say, Dracula Vs Frankenstein (either version!) or Zoltan Hound of Dracula or Lust for a Vampire or whatever. If the list was titled “worst US vampire movies that were at least…
I would argue that the shark is the primary antagonist in The Reef. That movie was pure nightmare fuel for me. Agreed with everything else.
“When the first part of The Witcher season three’s final season premiered on Netflix”
He’s one of those guys who I adored as a child when I would watch Pee Wee’s Playhouse religiously every Saturday, and have adored ever since thanks to Pee Wee’s Big Adventure being one of my very favorite movies ever, but who every year or two I’m still learning some other fact about him that makes him even more…
Yeah...I dunno. I’m hopeful this will be good. I did really enjoy the first few Ubisoft open world games I played, until I got sick of the formula and realized how much time I was spending doing tedious chores with later entries. If this gives me the feeling I got the first couple times I played one I’d be happy. But…
I’ll believe it when I see it. Their attempt to copy BOTW with Immortals: Fenyx Rising just meant that the icons everywhere were initially hidden until you went in first person view and auto-tagged them all just by pointing the camera in the right direction. Then the minimap looked the same as every other Ubisoft…
