I think people are backlashing in this thread cause you responded to a guy who specifically said “terrible technically” which is not really a matter of opinion. She can be great in some vague “musically” sense and terrible technically. There’s more than one way to grade something and if you are grading something on

Yeah, as someone that’s been out of the Xbox ecosystem since 360 I’d like to play these with decent loadtimes. I have NV GOTY edition on disc but it loads SO slowly on my old 360 it’s ridiculous. Not to mention every time I boot the system up I have to spend a couple minutes tapping on the top of it and

I didn’t find Persona 5 to be anywhere close to as interesting as Yakuza in terms of “digital tourism” cause it’s so incredibly non-interactive for the most part. There’s only a few locations you can run around in, they’ve only got a couple camera angles of the street you can see (or less, for all the tourist

That guy was a genius. I missed him on here cause I just always reflexively avoided any video link I saw posted on any of these GMG sites. I was really missing out. I’ve watched several of his Action Button videos multiple times on youtube. They’re very funny, incredibly detailed, and occasionally incredibly poignant.

This list is actually pretty decent (House on Sorority Row and Black Christmas are my actual votes for best slashers, and Sleepaway Camp is the one I’ve watched the most times) with a few exceptions:

Yeah, Black Christmas and House on Sorority Row are my two favorites as well.

Thanks for this. I might reinstall. I just bought it in the holiday sale for PS5, and bounced off it HARD. I hated the first hour or two so much that I had no interest in continuing. Just tons of noise and awfulness and things being thrown at you nonstop, it’s like sensory overload and none of the gameplay was fun in

I dunno. With like, Bloodborne’s DLC or Dark Souls 3's, you absolutely did not want to try and tackle any of that for the first time on NG+ cause the fights went from “hardest in the game but doable with a few tries” to “EXTREMELY hard and probably will make you want to quit if this is the first time you’re fighting

I think it was mostly open-world fatigue. I LOVED the first game, played it through multiple times, but had a really hard time getting through this one even once. There were just way too many sidequests (especially the seemingly endless series of contracts) and I had no interest in Machine Strike whatsoever. And the

Star Trek 2009 isn’t amazing, Star Trek Into Darkness is pretty bad, but Star Trek Beyond was kind of awesome. I would have loved to see another movie in that vein. It’s certainly far, far better than Discovery or Picard.

Nah, First Contact has pretty high production values. It can definitely be argued it feels more like a sci-fi action movie than something with TNG ethos, but it’s a good, solid movie with way, WAY higher production values than in say, “The Best of Both Worlds 1/2.” And James Cromwell and Alice Krige are a lot of fun.

I’ve always been perplexed by all the fandom love for Jess considering their breakup occurs when he tries to force Rory into sex and she has to physically shove him off and he angrily yells at her for being a drag. I would like to think it’s more based off what he becomes in later seasons (he’s actually good when he

“Full feature and content parity”? Yeah right. Not unless Nintendo releases a new console. Or unless they have the graphics at ULTRA-UNDETAILED 15 FPS mode or something. Even then I doubt they could handle the multiplayer, with how bad the Switch’s network card is and how bad their servers are.

This would be exciting

Yeah. This show and Community are extremely popular with the early 20s set around here. Way more than they ever were when actually on the air. I very frequently see references to both shows posted around campus, etc. It’s directly due to everyone watching them on Netflix. I am surprised they’re taking AD off, I would

I thought Season 4 had a weak start and some total comedic gold episodes later on. This was in the original incarnation. However, Netflix replaced what it used to be like with a re-edited version that completely removed the original, intended structure and made it much more in-line with the other seasons. It had the

I wish they’d figure out DS emulation and release those Castlevania DS games. Those things are unbelievably expensive, and they’re also some of my favorite sidescrollers of all time. The GBA collection from Konami was a great first step, but the DS games were better (and also are far more expensive on the used game

Sausage Party was the single worst experience I’ve ever had in a theater (in terms of quality of movie). It was utterly terrible, I don’t remember laughing a single time. And I actually sort of like Superbad!

God no, not Tom Holland. He’s managed to carve out a niche as a guy that still looks and acts like a high schooler but is closing in on 30, and when he tries to act older it just comes off weird, like he’s in Bugsy Malone. He’s too young-looking to work in anything other than like, high school/college-set romances,

Yup, one of the first things I did with my PS5 was buy a modkit to add them to one of my controllers. For me, Elden Ring is nearly unplayable without backpaddles (and Sekiro is completely, but fortunately I can still use a PS4 controller on that one). I don’t have any need for them on games like God of War or Horizon

Yeah, they’re really jumping all over the place now in a desperate hunt for something to get the country back on their side after the whole abortion thing and midterm disaster. A couple weeks ago it was gas stoves, then it was M&M mascosts again, now as of yesterday it’s WOKEbox (Xbox) for instituting powersaving
