Yes. Massachusetts has the best state inspection. It is rigorous for all the parts that matter, suspension, brakes, wheel bearings, tires, etc.

Dunno where you are but here in Massachusetts there is an annual safety inspection for all cars.  If your car is more than 15 years old, you don’t have to have an emission test.  Rust holes are a fail.
