Yes. The CRV was utter crap. I had one as a rental and everything about it was worse than a 90s era Accord.  They’ve since made it very respectable, but doing that sort of thing (“make it a cross over!”) is profoundly successful.

I haven’t researched the Honda line-up lately, but with the Fit going away (right?) the HRV is the similarly sized option in crossover form right?  A friend has had Fits for ages and when his current one needs to go he’s expecting to go to the HRV.  He’s very much a car as an appliance person.

In MA you can get your car fixed elsewhere and the original inspection place has to re-inspect for free.

If you can’t pay $35 for an annual inspection, then you can’t pay for gas for your rusted out death heap.

I’d agree accept that the mask thing went away months ago in any of the places these people frequented and may have never really even existed in those spaces. I live in a place that took masking seriously, but even a short (couple miles) drive away and masks weren’t a thing anytime recently.

Not really. We already have to do things like this all the time. I’ve had to prove ownership of a shitty old car for example. We have to declare shit when traveling between countries.

Didn’t stop protesters from pitching a fit at the state house in my state.  Our governor never imposed mask or vaccine mandates.  Some towns, school systems, and businesses may have.  These people just want attention for their ostensibly “edgy” takes that are just really really bad.

In my experience with my 2007 WRX, anything approaching flogging usually met with an expensive repair bill.  They were surprisingly delicate after five years or so.  This one probably needs thousands in repairs each year to keep it going.

Thanks for pulling the numbers.  That comment didn’t make sense given that CA is one of the biggest economies in the world.  Like, sure there are poor people there absolutely, but even many of the “poor” people in CA are going to be making too much to qualify for federal assistance.

People have been going BONKERS for the Telluride. We saw tons of new ones on a cross country trip last summer. It isn’t surprising they’re tacking on stupid mark-ups. It sucks and I hate it, but it isn’t surprising.
