Meh, that shit don’t even line up any more ever since they facelifted the rear tails.

Craps me out that they had a chance to make a car movie for car nuts and somehow managed to blow it with chase scenes that convey no sense of speed and a terrible audio track for the hero car’s exhaust note. Sounds like Cage is riding the clutch every single time he accelerates.
Ah no way. My parents live behind 3660 on 13th. Never thought I’d see a Wilhelmina Rise vid on Jalop.
I enjoy talking about forbidden Aussie fruit as much as the next guy or gal, but can we please acknowledge that while a base car like a BMW 228i/230i or a Mustang EcoBoost or a non-S Mini Cooper are pretty good in their own right, a Lancer GTS is not. These cars are solid starting points, like an old KA powered S13 or…
Given the price of a 401A w/ Perf Pack level 1 and Active Valve Exhaust this thing is a friggin’ bargain. No need for the 12 speaker B&O, the exhaust note is music enough. Mag dampers...meh, they’re nice but not necessary. This thing already gets the digital display and the Performance Pack equip for a few grand south…
It did, Google “Avalanche Midgate”.
Reminds me of that guy who got a tattoo of an alternator thinking it was a turbocharger.
They’d need to crash test the thing and go through all kinds of legalization. It’s not just the motor, it’s the entire car and it would make absolutely zero sense from a business standpoint.
So if they badged it “Sport” like they always have no one would have a problem? If anything by branding it an “ST” Ford is ensuring that the vehicle is more than just a warmed over XLT with a hot motor. Now it’s the suspension, brakes and styling which also receive tweaks/improvements and it doesn’t change the fact…
I could see them doing it when the Escape is redesigned in a year or two. It makes too much sense for them in a segment this popular, especially with the way Ford wants to position itself as the performance brand.
Neeeeevvver gonna happen. Too much money to federalize and legalize such a margin car. The FoST outsells the FiST 2-1 as it is.
Americans prefer SUVs to Sedans, plain and simple. Look at how well the Navigator is selling in comparison to the Continental at a price point that starts some $20k higher, and let’s not pretend like these folks are regularly using the third row. As solid a flagship luxury sedan as the Conti is, it’s simply not what…
FYI the reason GM was able to drop the Tahoe’s base price by some three grand this year is because they’re now offering base models without a third row seat...something which should be factored in when talking about starting price.
So as an E-Class underneath it’s effectively a slightly more tarted up CLS. In other words, Mercedes felt it necessary to further differentiate the CLS63 AMG from the rest of the newly introduced inline-6 mainstream models and thus the AMG GT 4-door was born. Wasn’t the point of the original CLS to be something…
Covers the speedo, doesn’t realize his speed can be calculated using the known distance between two lines on the road and the time it takes that riced out Civic he was racing to cover said distance. Come on brah.
Damn, who’d have thought a Pontiac Fiero rear would work on a fastback sedan in 2018. And dat interior doe. Too bad no one is buying sedans here in the US otherwise I’d say GM needs to crib this one from PSA for a Buick stateside in a joint venture.
Liking Hyundai’s new design direction. Their more angular hexagonal grille is an improvement over the blander designs from the last five years but not as extreme-super-curvy as designs like the 2011 Sonata. I also know folks are “split” on the topic but I like the headlamps.
In this class, yes. 6 passengers plus a driver at say 180 lbs a piece is already 1,260 lbs., and you aren’t going to tow much with a 1.5L diesel in a FWD layout.
I’m seriously considering one to replace my FiST when my lease is up in a year and a half as I’ll be needing something for the pups and the kids my GF and I are planning for in the near future. My GF absolutely hates the way this thing looks but I’ve always had a thing for quirky vehicles. Like you said though, slow…
The seats...uncomfortable as hell. The cushioning in the second and third rows is paper thin and I like the Connect for being different, quirky and practical but damn, your butt will be sore after sitting in back for any extended period of time. These things are what they are, practical light cargo haulers converted…
