Inspired by the poetic masterworkRode on a Grecian Urn.”

Rust to rust, ashes to ashes ...

I guess it doesn’t help the tone when the poppy that features is the same used worldwide as the symbol of Remembrance Day.

Just too droll--good one.

Riding backwards. For a lot of people that is a non starter.

Yes, Ridgeline is not the answer.  Honda is way too proud of that thing.  I like having a truck because I do a lot of home improvement and my wife has a small furniture refinishing business. I hate owning a full-size truck, it is a ridiculous waste for what we’re using it for. I’ve looked around for old Toyotas,

The thing automotive journalists don’t understand... or can’t convey, is why they think the Ridgeline is so much better than the competition. It’s not cheaper, it’s not more fuel efficient, it’s not safer, it can’t tow more, the bed isn’t bigger, it’s not easier to park, it doesn’t come with more standard features...

I’m guessing seating for 5 with a 3ft. bed.

Saw the picture, and said “as long as it actually comes with the hard top in the picture, I’d go $6500" (I hate when sellers say “If you want it as pictured, it’ll be $2k more than I listed it for)

Well, Ford did come up with this in 1999, circular opera window on the hardtop à la TC, the original 1955 Thunderbird no less.”

I want to buy a Maverick, and get “GOOSE” as the license plate.

Not at all.  :)

I really like the Reatta because it was a hand built car from GM (rare) and it featured the stout 3.8L motor that would last and parts are widely available. The dash digital readout parts, much less I surmise. I would gladly rock a ragtop Reatta....and I am not a big GM fan...they do hit a double or triple

No, Mr. Bond I expect you to fry.

“Enpentagrammed.”

Is there something wrong with me that I just fucking love all these failed 2-seat cruisers? The TC was Chrysler’s entry, but Cadillac had the Allante and the XLR, and Buick had the Reatta. It’s a wonder Ford didn’t attempt some kind of Lincoln-Mercury thing (no, the Aussie Capri reboot doesn’t count)

Is being an Alfa considered a known defect?

I started coming here for all the normal car blog stuff but goddam did your absurd yet eloquent ramblings brighten any given day for me.

I did get. I’m gonna burn it like a draft card.

50!? This whole time I’ve been assuming he’s just a rough 35
