“You missed the point.”

Autonomous red wagons

Cue rich guys hiring little red wagons full of phones to make their commute easier.

That applies equally to all cars.

Sleep at airport they said.  It will be fun they said.

People are waiting to buy their next car, as they decide whether or not to buy a traditional ICE vehicle, hybrid, or EV. Lots of talk about rapid advancements in EVs has people waiting to see if range will improve enough for them.

what are you guys talking about? There have been Electric Lincolns for over 50 years!

“Electric Lincoln” Sounds like a really good name for a rural midwestern based Techno group.

I went to an industry outlook conference last week, and one of the speakers said “not so fast”. Assuming a shared car future (big assumption) and the expectation that a vehicle will be in operation for many more miles a year, they’re going to wear out faster (usable lifespan about 200-300K miles) and will be useless

Also, greater car longevity means lower car turnover.
