I feel like this has been hinted at before, but it might be just more of the character assassination they've been doing of Dar this season.

Fair enough… It's not language I normally use in my everyday life, but I feel that that is the only language that those people who I am aiming it at understand or respond to. Speaking in their language, so to speak. But I will take it under consideration.
No, not at all. My point remains though, that they are at least trying to depict what America and Americans are really like, and part of that depiction is our pussified reaction to minor acts of terrorism. And I will point out that that is how the Republicans and the National Security establishment like us to be,…
Is Franny back home again? it seems to me they are at Max's place, waiting for him to secure her place. He's leaving them in his bedroom, and sleeping on his couch.
Oh, for Christ's sake, it was same premise, not the same joke. I doubt it was new when Tina and Amy did it. That premise is practically public domain at this point. It's just who tells it funnier. Kristin Chirico needs to take a fucking Valium or ten.
As near as I can tell, he has the longest IMDB page of any non-pornographic actor. He is definitely the top Asian "Hey, it's that guy!" actor out there(although I think Mako was giving him stiff competition in the '60's and '70's).
I always liked that movie…I thought I might be the only one though, considering it's box office. It seems to have found a second life on cable, though.
Can we just stop for a moment and admire what an amazing name Charisma Carpenter is?
I watched season 6 on DVD and really liked it. It really does seem like people who first saw it in a binge-watch liked it a lot more than people who watched it as it originally aired. I think that has been true of a lot of serialized shows since then.
You're right about Season 7… I totally forgot about it. It was seasons 6 and 8 that were dire garbage. Season 3 was pretty dire too.
Naww… season 5 with Julia Stiles was still good. It was the last two seasons that went to utter shit.
Yeah, yeah, Nathan, we've heard it all before from you A.V. Club critics. "Black Eyed Peas were cool until Fergie ruined it with her girl cooties!" Do they make you say that to get a job here?
I always found Weezer to be a profoundly irritating band. I never understood how they had any appeal to anyone I would want to spend time with.
The one on Seven Samurai is amazing. I learned more about filming technique that afternoon than I have over the rest of my life.
Another funny commentary track is on a season 2 episode of Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles, where Shirley Manson, the lead singer of Garbage, in her rookie acting outing shushes everyone else on the commentary every time she appears on screen "Hey, I'm Acting here!"
Same here… I always look at the list of extras, and if it's good, I will buy it instead of streaming.
The Tropic Thunder commentary is great, with RDJ staying in character throughout, even switching from "talking black" to talking Australian as his character in the film did, keeping his character's promise from early in the movie that he would "stay in character until they finished the commentary track"
I'm a big fan of commentary tracks, especially on Criterion Collection movies, or with directors who have something to say, and can say it with some wit, like Joss Whedon. The commentaries on Tom Tykwer movies are usually pretty good. I was always entertained when Whedon would bust himself, like pointing out the cheat…
Not trying to convince you of anything, just venting. I thought everyone was cutting him way too much slack.
No, those guys are shit-stains too. Wallace is the most disappointing because you know he was raised better than that. Hume was always a garbage person, going back to his days as ABC's WH correspondent
