That only seems to work in certain markets. I don’t get FS2 and I can’t stream anything airing on FS2 on Fox Sports Go.

It might also lead to silliness in qualifying where the fast cars go slowly on purpose. Or, if it happens in the middle of a race, you’d see teams sandbagging for the first half like you used to see in the Busch Clash and NASCAR All-Star Race when they had field inversions.

You can do the same with the MRN broadcast. It’s great.

Well, yeah, that’s the problem. He’d have to give that up in order to call the races, and the main ones he runs are endurance races where it’s all hands on deck already. (So hard to replace him with, say, Kevin Lee, who’d probably be leading the booth alternating with Leigh Diffey’s booth).

It could very well be the same team (perhaps with Steve Matchett and a sports car driver in the booth in place of Bell and Tracy) calling the races. There’s only one conflict between IndyCar and IMSA this year (Iowa and Bowmanville in July).

I have a feeling that it’s going to look like the IndyCar deal, with Prototype Challenge and most Sports Car Challenge races on NBC Sports Gold (presumably in a package with Indy Lights).

Which is *still* better than having races on FS2, since many markets still don’t even have it in SD. *glares at Comcast*

Can’t forget Ken Schrader’s classic 2003 ride:

Yeah, gotta use the Valvoline paint scheme version of the Viagra car.

I believe the Trump for President truck (at least the Korbin Forrester version) was filling in for an otherwise unsponsored race. The 55 car‘s scheme was sponsored by the campaign.

There’s a lot of old schemes that folks run on iRacing in CORT.

I thought that Ford’s police sales were mostly Taurus, Explorer, and F-series. (My local department just started buying the latter for some reason.)

But when they announced that the Mustang would replace the Fusion in the Cup Series next year, they swore it wasn’t indicative of future plans for Ford models!

Thanks, I just about did a spittake at that GIF.

Uggggggggggggh.

Yet another thing Lincoln is scooping them on.

They may be idiots, but they’re actually buying the goddamn C/SUVs. =/

Yes. Yes yes yes. Please, Honda. Please give this to us and not another Acura bland-box.

I wonder if Johan had trouble playing GM’s internal politics, especially as GM keeps trying to have Cadillac compete with European manufacturers while also retain its traditional luxury buyers.

Wouldn’t it be great if GM had, say, another marque to fill one of those two roles? Something that evokes the past? The

Indeed! It might cut down on the number of screens you have to go through at the pump. No, I don’t have a rewards card, don’t want a car wash, don’t need a receipt, don’t want your special deal of the day, don’t need to review the Voynich Manuscript, etc.
