I like that they had to split it into 3 books because it was too fucking big to print as one book.

I didn’t give up on the series. I read the books as they came out... well I started to read them around the time Crossroads of Twilight came out, so I didn’t have to wait as long as people who read from the start

Yeah, his world building is among the best in the Fantasy genre - he just really, really needed someone to tell him “Dude, you can’t have a whole book that is dedicated to people responding to what happened at the end of the last one, we’ll just give you an extension.”

Robert Jordan really liked describing shit.

Imagine if he DMed a D&D game

that might be fun

but he would spend 2 hours every session describing the minute details

I mean they could have Rand be another race, since he is part Aiel

Never read the book, loved the movie, though

Three words: Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

Not dislike, just not care much for them - people who didn’t have time to have a family because they were too busy saving the world.

Holy shit that looks worse than it sounded

Oh god, the true Good Place is a bunch of kids, a few adults who don’t like kids, and a Janet acting as a babysitter

So excited for Good Place!

Yes, but is it good?

FUCK

Now I have to get a Hulu subscription

It airs tonight? Eh, I can waste 22 minutes to see if it is as bad as the trailer.

Now playing

The trailer for this looked horrible.

I liked the lead of this in No Tomorrow, but this just looks really, really bad.

The trailer, for reference:

1. This was a great season. I’d say best since the first season.

2. Sherlock’s neighbors are Clyde and Joan

I liked how this season had a lot more of the types of crimes Sherlock Holmes would solve just randomly in the beginning (“Oh i solved this 75 year old crime!” etc.)

go watch The Good Place. It is on Netflix. Read nothing about it on google.

I was rooting for Ted Danson too

Yeah, but he was hilarious in Mrs. Maisel

Well now I am even more excited for Widows
