The whole problem is speed limit signs are already up when they collect this data. There should be a big sign that says - speed limit testing, drive the speed you feel safe traveling.

Nursing a 30 year old disposable Pontiac is above average Jalop. Place your card back in the clear window of your wallet and display it proudly.

If you’ve got time, gravity bleed is the way to go. It’s foolproof and you can do it yourself and don’t need anything special to do it

Not hard, the golden rule is that you always start with the brake farthest from the brake booster/master cylinder and work your way closer. The difficult part is finding a buddy to push the peddle or work the wrench.

Youtube is your friend. Ten minutes of watching Youtube will save you hours of diagnostic time and will show you the mistakes to avoid.

“Of course, there are the obvious things you should know how to do, like change a tire or check the oil.”

Lots of good ideas already being posted, but one that stands out to me (and is super easy to do for most cars...not all, but most), is how to replace your cabin air filter. Dealership wanted $100 for my wife’s car, I bought the filter for $6 on Amazon, and literally the only tool required was my hands/thumbs to open

Brakes. They really are a simple system and once you know how you can do them at home with good parts for 1/3 of what you would pay someone. Plus you know how to clean them each spring (if you live in the snow belt) to give them that like new feeling and keep them going strong. I love that nice, high, responsive brake

It’s almost like the Koreans are producing cars that are by and far superior to everything on the market at their price point.

Ask the French what happens when the Germans get pissed.

Fast forward to a couple years ago. I went into the bookstore and they were selling a book of Police Shootings in St Paul Minneapolis. Story was in there and the Author was signing copies the next day. His story omitted the part about the guy breaking the window. I corrected him along with showing him all of the

Here is the story. Dude (Victim) had a double barreled sawed off shotgun at a party in St Paul. Someone told him “That is going to get someone killed” at the party and someone gave him a ride over near my Apartment in Little Canada approx Midnight. He fired off the shotgun in the parking lot. 2 Cops with 1 K9 unit

Fuck yes I did. When I graduated high school in ‘99 I got a 1995 3000GT, the naturally aspirated version, with a dark grey leather interior that was only available in the SL model (which mine wasn’t, but the previous owner had it installed) and Epic Impeller 16" chrome rims. I kept it shiny as fuck all day, every day.

Friend of mine had one. It was funny, you couldn’t load/eject a CD when in 1st, 3rd, or 5th gear, the shifter would be in the way.

Here’s some things I’ve picked up...

The wiping out was just from trying to get all that power down, not necessarily from him getting lift.

I think during the trial runs the car already almost wiped out once. That downforce and grip is all needed.

Having said that, I think if you tell CvK to make a dragster car and throw enough money at it; he’ll probably make a competitive one and forbid you to call it Koenigsegg.

It’s nuts to think that the previous record for speed on a public roadway was only 10mph slower but that it occurred nearly 80 years prior.
