Can you steer me to the Black Mirror episode that she's in? I watch Black Mirror, and it is AMAZING, but so very dark that I have to take that show very slowly, and haven't watched them all.

Not naive so much, because I remember her from her entrance at the Red Center (pre-eyeball removal), and she was a roughneck, and I grew up with that type. For Janine, they all saw her "break" back at the Red Center, and she was doing her own bit of world-building by living in the fantasy that her horrible Putnam had

I agree with your take. Ann Dowd is such a national fucking treasure that she can deliver any line with authenticity, and whatever Aunt Lydia's personal beliefs and motives are, former moments between her and Janine (including CALLING her Janine) were played with real…compassion? Maternal love? Something, I don't

Serena and the even-more-horrible wife looked at her like she had the cootie creeping crud, and not just because of the baby, either. "Look at her in her grey hat. Pathetic." SOOO Mean Girls!

Everything looks like a bottle of Jamesons to me.

Oh god, we are all calling her Pesto now. And it works.

My cinnamon-Dentyne-filled heart.

I see what you did there.

She's got the crazy eyes.

I'm from Nashville, TN, and the two things that came to mind when I read your comment. First, my dad's wisdom when he said about people shooting into the air, "It's got to come down somewhere." Second, when a friend of mine came back to Nashville from his grandfather's farm in said grandfather's sweet 1975 green Chevy

Just palling around, pummeling and insulting one another, one trying to lift a valuable object off of the other. I'm down for it. Hell, I'm down for a spin-off.

I want to meet your mom now.

Yeah….noooo….

Wait…so we're rooting for the singing cowboy here, right?

Yes! Totally agree. And I'm going to drag you to my next book club and make everyone listen to you and not get up to go to the bathroom while you are talking.

Yes, that mother is just going to have to tsk tsk me then. I'm 44 and I'll wear that red sleeveless dress anytime I like, thankyouverymuch.

"I'll make it so you get that wish!"

But it also what got him elected, so…

That's a good thing. I'd say that (with Gaiman's blessing, of course) the greatest potential of the series is the expansion of so many of the characters that Gaiman only had time to sketch out for us. That the writers and showrunners would expand on the human characters, not just the gods, just makes me root for them

Is that because they are delicious? Because they are delicious.
