In addition to the fact that Bolts were already selling well below list price in most areas with high Tesla sales (CA, MA, NY), Tesla’s production is battery-constrained more than anything, and they’re likely trying to maximize revenues with a limited supply of batteries.…

As an aside I think it’s pretty frustrating that talk is of cars with 200 miles or 250 miles and so on is based on a use-case that isn’t reflective of the way a maximum range would actually be used.

My wife used to put her feet on the dash, or put her hands out in front of her like she’s going to use the force to stop an impending accident, if I were to come up to a stopped car too quickly. Then I showed her a video of a girl that had her feet on the dash when the airbag went off. She doesn’t do that anymore.

No food in the car, ever. When I get out of the car, anything that isn’t stored away comes with me and nothing stays in the trunk other than essential supplies. Fortunately, I don’t know anyone who puts their feet on the dashboard, but if anyone did they’d find themselves walking home.
