That ADA looks like Laurel Lance from Arrow

That’s disappointing that he’s not referencing his source. That used to be the standard.

This is about as bad as that Jezebel Mortal Kombat article from a while back. This is the part where I’d normally paste the link but hyperlinks stopped working in Kinja.

A $10k price increase on the Model Y Long Range should trigger enough common-sense alarm bells to do some damn research here. Increasing it $10k would make it the same price as a Performance which would make zero sense. It took me less than a minute to open a new tab and build a Model Y on the Tesla site to see that

Reminds me of the Isuzu Axiom from Spy Kids

I see this as similar to taxicabs. Both industries got by for decades of treating their customers poorly and handling their employees (salesmen or taxi drivers) in a way that didn’t achieve any meaningful loyalty. I don’t want to see people out of work but I don’t mind seeing these industries disrupted.

I don’t know why but these make me think of the Sky Sled from He-Man

Interior pet peeve is that car makers are slow to provide dedicated space for phones. They have the tiny cubby that shares space with USB ports that can get cluttered quickly.

Done. Let’s get someone over at Stellantis legal to clear it with the Village People’s people and put this whole thing behind us.

This may be Biden allowing Manchin to feel like a big boy on a non-issue like this confirmation so he’ll play ball on real issues like the stimulus, the John Lewis act and DC statehood.

These dudes went out and made a CyberGolf and I like it. Looks better than an ID.4, though we should note that carmakers don’t have to reinvent the steering wheel when they design an EV.

EVs are a lot better than gasoline, but the extraction of precious metals for batteries is going to be our next environmental concern. It’s important we find an energy source that has minimal environmental impact while being able to provide the range and safety that gas currently provides, if not more.

Because the Stinger’s touch screen sits on top of the dash and is a couple inches back, it creates a place for my palm to rest, which makes using the touch screen simple.

Same, in my Kia Stinger, you move turn off the tilt-down mirrors by moving the mirror switch to center. It’s handy, though it’s hard to find that switch by feel and hard to look for it when I’m backing into a spot or the garage.

No one insulted you. You just admitted that you had no knowledge yet you chose to opine anyway.

I had that gen Sportage and it never got more than 25mpg on a road trip.

You realize Tesla not only has Service Centers but a robust mobile service fleet, including trucks that can do wheel/tire mounting.

I think about my Pixel phone and even though it has an all day battery, what I like most is its fast charging ability. Even if it dies, I can charge it to 100% in less than an hour. Recharge speed and accessibility to a charger is even more important that total range.
