I mean, don’t get me wrong, I understand the reasons they used that genre of music. It worked well for the aesthetic it was trying to pull. But it got repetitive quickly, and the regular use of vocals felt very distracting from the gameplay. That’s really frustrating.

I wanted to enjoy Rebel Galaxy the original, and it was fun to play...but I swear, the trashy blues rock soundtrack pissed me off enough to stop playing (and because I’m on Mac, I couldn’t just put in my own soundtrack 😑)
