Hey, I get it. It’s important to remember how history has shaped the present, especially through art mediums. The sins of the past are definitely being paid for in modern suffering as America continues to struggle with issues of inequality.
I can understand an article making a point of this particular style of art.
But I won’t read it as an indictment that the creators are discredited for not also paying attention to all of the wrong parts of the past as well.
