I was assuming it was like, a poop meter that slowly fills up and you eventually have to press ‘p’ to pay your respects and if you don’t then you die of toxic shock syndrome or sepsis or something.
Something tells me this was a genius customer service scheme to allow the devs to reapond to glitches by suggesting players eat shit and die.
Eh, it’s meant for kids. As much fun as I want to have I don’t really have a problem with nintendo targeting an audience who’s parents don’t want to their kids to learn what “taking the skin boat to tuna town” is before they get a chance to explain it.

There’s something kind of relaxing listening to this cheery music with a random swear words being said every few seconds. Very nice to have playing in the background while working.
