Given how thoughtful Sucker Punch was for just about every other nuance, they were either pressed for time in the end, or..it was an intentional design choice. I find this issue morbidly hilarious within the game.

wouldn’t it have been more appropriate to distribute this 90 gb file using a legal torrent?
remember kids...try not to shit where you eat.
it’s interesting to know that Jon would not have made it as a character design in Japan. I don’t think he looks particularly ugly or anything...nor did I think he was too old. Weird.
behold, the power of 12 tflops!
there is a lot of concern that Sony’s just getting a bit too comfortable in inhabiting the single-player title space and not wanting to venture off into MP land anymore after so many financial duds (resistance, socom, killzone, etc). I hate to see them give up but it’s hard to be successful when 3rd party online…
it’s draining bc it’s about 10 hrs too long, I understand the effort in trying to build empathy, but it could’ve been structured differently as well as not having to run for that long...missed opportunity also to delve into the seraphite side of tlou lore instead of being merely used to advance the plot.
lol. is there ever a game that views it’s subject matter from that lens?
I’m still slowly making my way through rdr2 finally after avoiding it for the longest time. I’m loving it, so I may pop open Ghost to check it out but not actually play it for another few weeks.
I want that game, now!
this is actually one of the strengths, I feel, with the Yakuza series. the main storyline can sometimes get a little boring and overdramatic, the side quests are a little crazy and out there at times which makes the whole affair a lot more light-hearted.
it sounds like Sucker Pumch did their best as a Western Studio to do justice in making an homage to old Japanese samurai films. I really liked the VA aspect of Sleepng Dogs as well where a lot of the voice taken was respectfully Asian and decent Cantonese was being spoken.
I’m glad that acg and skillup are good with it on youtube. *shrugs* ultimately the litmus rest is whether or not we each individually enjoy the game or not. I’m looking forward to beautiful scenery and samurai action without the need of nioh/sekiro level of skill mastery.
LOL
who is the gaming community being referred to here? Yeah, I am a bit cynical about famitsu giving this a perfect 40.
kids on the slope is also good to watch.
either that or perhaps Ghosts of Tsushima will fill that void. I really want to play rdr2 right now...I stop ed after the tutorial due to work distractions and haven’t gone back.
I would buy your version of the Last of Us 2! That sounds very relaxing and peaceful.
if I’m already feeling down, I wonder just how worse playing this game is going to make me feel. I know it was never going to be all wine and roses (quite the opposite actually), but labeling this as a misery simulator doesn’t help at all, lol.
hmmmm...misery simulator. that is not a good label.
