i need to rewatch this film. it’s definitely been too long.

i miss the days of the joystiq comments section, where instead of having mods remove trolls, the community could simply wipe these trolls into oblivion by downvoting them until their comments disappeared like ghosts.

socom2, etc etc.

I just hope the story stands up well. I didn’t care too much for the one in GTAV.

...

I hope Bluepoint gets commissioned to do a Demon’s Souls remake. they sound like the team to pull it off. Make it happen, Sony!!

ok, glad to know I wasn’t the only one to notice this. I spent all of 5 min in the character editor though, so it’s ok.

software problems + unforgiving schedules = development hell

what is the advantage of full 3d animation on this film, btw?

i’ll probably be like Let It Die, where it’s fun for a few weeks until you hit an abrupt paywall for progression.

I liked * some * of the metal gear games (and thank goodness he stepped in to save metal gear revengeance), but I feel like the man is a little bit too in love with himself. he was at his best when he had an editor to help him for MGS3, and when that person left, we ended up with mgs4.

there’s probably a lot of that that nobody is talking about and legally bound not to.

it’s true. the development window was almost as insane as Andromeda’s.

I’d argue that despite the same release window, I don’t feel that it impacted sales of Horizon that badly. the people hyped about zelda were diaz acted on zelda and not so much getting horizon in the first place.

I hope we hear from Bruce again someday. In the meantime, I hope he gets all the well-deserved rest he needs.

shhhh...spoilers. some of us have eternal backlogs. XD

I think that at least, people may vote with their dollars. It hasn’t happened yet for things that matter outside of “we hate loot boxes and play to win, go fuck yourself EA,” but maybe that change will come?

that’s why Kotaku exists, and other outlets.

such is life. we have to take the good with the bad, and keep moving forward.

I don’t know if it’s just an “American” thing, but I find films hard to enjoy if all the characters are unsympathetic. there’s no emotional investment so unless the film has some other hook to it, it tends to feel like a waste of time.
